Holy Week was marked by an ecumenical gathering in our community where CARITAS For Children sponsors and donors support the education of our children.
Fr. Mathias, the chaplain of schools, was the main celebrant on Holy Thursday. His homily was based on all that Jesus did on that exact day. He said, “Holy Thursday is a very special day for all...because it was on this day Jesus instituted the greatest commandment of LOVE.”

He also said that during the time of Jesus, women used to wash their husbands' feet. That is why Peter wondered when His master demonstrated humility to wash their [the disciples] feet.
On this day Jesus instituted the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist and He told us to do this in Memory of Him.
Many sects have come up and they don't take the Body and Blood of Jesus. This is the originality of our faith and salvation.
The Catholic Church and Protestant Church came together to pray as one on Good Friday. We prayed the Stations of the Cross together. We moved for four good hours.

Many people joined the prayer session, that is, the aged, lame, men, women, children, students from different schools and the Little Sisters. Good Friday was such a reverent and silent day as people of different faiths came together contemplating the Passion of our Lord.
